The indoor simulation system of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science (Xiamen University) aims to monitor the impact of global climate change and human-induced environmental changes on marine ecosystems, and build a long-term and stable platform for observing environmental elements at the sea-land-air interface, an open experimental base for marine science and technology, and a research and testing base for marine observation instruments. It is planned to establish specimen rooms, exhibition halls, marine archaeological centers, diving training bases, etc. in conjunction with other sea-related teaching and research units of Xiamen University, and its functions will be extended to students' teaching practice, the popularization of science education for the public's global change and environmental ecological response, etc.
With rich and professional experience in aquarium life support system engineering, Laswim is honored to participate in the engineer, manufacture, supply and installation of the marine ecological environment indoor simulation system of Dongshan Marine Station Phase II construction project. The project consists of seven systems, including automatic seawater treatment system, wastewater treatment system, untreated seawater transmission system, intelligent pipeline backwashing system, pump station management system, seawater system general control and equipment online monitoring system, as well as a marine ecological simulation indoor cultivation system composed of indoor cultivation system, air supply system and water quality online monitoring system.
Dongshan Marine Station Phase II construction project will build trestle and observation platform, expand multifunctional ecological test site, build submarine observation network base station, and build an open and international experimental base integrating ocean observation, experiment and education, which will become an important part of regional ocean observation system.
