We are proud to announce that Laswim has been awarded to engineer, manufacture, supply and install the Life Support Systems (LSS) for Nanjing OCT Happy Valley Aquarium. The OCT Group was established in 1985, and is one of the large central enterprises under the management of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Over the past twenty years since its establishment, OCT started from a tidal flat on the banks of Shenzhen Bay and developed into a large state-owned enterprise group operating across regions and industries. It has cultivated three domestic leading main businesses, including real estate and hotel development and management, tourism and related cultural industry management, and electronic supporting packaging product manufacturing.
Nanjing OCT Happy Valley is invested by OCT Group. It is a large-scale integrated tourism project in Nanjing with a total investment of more than 20 billion RMB. The aquarium project in the Happy Valley of the OCT in Nanjing has a total construction area of 8338.38 square meters, a total aquaculture water volume of about 4000 cubic meters, and total 23 life support systems, including a huge aquarium, white tiger pool, otter pool, sea lion pool, turtle pool, seal pool, jellyfish space, pelican pool, etc.
Among them, the total seawater volume is 2,340 cubic meters, and it adopts the mixed filtration method of sand filter, protein skimmer and bio-filter, and adopts the ozone disinfection, etc. The construction work has already started. Laswim is following the strict quality standards and focuses on providing the life support systems that respect the sensitive needs of marine mammals, ensuring the excellent water quality for all the living organisms that would be housed at Nanjing OCT Happy Valley Aquarium.
