Wuyishan Polar Ocean Park is located at No. 198, Dawangfeng Road, Wuyishan City. The project covers an area of about 120 mu. It is located in the core of Wuyishan National Tourism Resort. It is a tourism complex characterized by marine culture and integrating tourism, shopping, leisure, vacation, catering and accommodation. The project is listed as a key cultural tourism project under construction in Fujian Province. The exhibition hall of the Ocean Park covers an area of 48000 square meters. It is composed of four venues: polar Animal Museum, Marine Biology Museum, boutique aquarium and science popularization interactive Museum, as well as three theaters: whale and dolphin theater, joy theater and Mermaid palace. It is a large open marine theme tourism park integrating tourism, leisure, catering, entertainment, shopping and other functions, Hundreds of polar animals, marine fish and marine life are on display.
The park is based on the display of polar animals and marine life, and takes the conservation and protection of polar marine animals as the direction. It has polar bears, arctic wolves, arctic foxes, sea lions, seals, dolphins, penguins, beluga whales, walruses and other rare species from the Antarctic and Arctic. It has the largest giant cylindrical sea water tank in China, the 180° arc-shaped Great Barrier Reef Shark Bay Tunnel and the 90-degree Coral Reef Undersea Tunnel, allowing visitors to watch a variety of sharks and coral fish displays.
